I really don't see Kentucky getting beat.

Was just checking out their recruiting classes over on rivals from the last two years. Lamb, jones, Teague, Davis and Gilcrist all 5 stars. These dudes can ball.

Two years ago Kentucky looked like a run away train until they played WVU and got hammered by WVU in the elite 8, we heard the same thing then with Wall and that whole gang.

I hate to say it....but I agree. But we have a looooong way to go.

Guys no way around it UK loaded ! Love me some Bucks & Cardinals in basketball ! Only root for Louisville to piss my wife off ! She loves UK bleeds blue etc. Tell her cal sucks as a coach I have to get the FD to extract her from the ceiling fan ! Anyway these kids play together don't try to compare them to Wall and Cousins ! These are all one and done but they play way above their age ! I have unfortunately had to sit thru all the games and when they are clicking NO ONE will beat them ! I tell her that cal sucks, what good coach couldn't win a championship with that kind of talent ! Last years team are in the NBA except for Lamb and he's their 6 th man ! They won tonight without Jones and the only thing that will stop them ! Is them ! A Buford elite 8 moment comes to mind but the whole team would have to suffer such a trauma ! Not just one shooter ! Maybe 3 lottery picks on this team and all the starters will be NBA players they are stacked ! After all that I am praying for the proverbial melt down or it will be a long year for me ! By the way I do not advise anyone here to wear your Bucks gear to Rupp catch a lot of slack down there with it on ! But they can suck it ! They don't play football in Kentucky !

The question will be how Kentucky responds to adversity. Yes, they're the most talented team in the tournament - but they're young. What happens when they play a veteran team that is hitting every shot they throw up in the first half? What if Kentucky finds themselves down by 10 at halftime, simply because certain guys get hot and others get cold? Will they try to hard and play out of control? Will they stay disciplined? Will they start bickering about who gets the ball when they feel a little pressure?

Remember, this Kentucky team lost to Vanderbilt last week. You can write it off as a 'lack of focus' or whatever you want - but they are beatable. They went 6-28 from long range in that game. They were outrebounded. Great team, and I'd pick them over anyone in the tournament - but they're beatable.
