Can't really vouch for the food but a bit off the beaten path, right on the marina with likely some live music.

Great food (lunch), off the beaten path (not Duval St), unique atmosphere (must like roosters running around), possibly live music.
I will also vouch for Alonzo's (near Schooners) and grab those Happy Hour specials as HAYNBUCKEYE notes.
EDIT: Here is your Trip Advisor take on Blue Heaven (near the Butterflies I recall).
