Today Bill Kurelic has a “Super 17” 2013 Ohio State Hot List. With the first OSU Friday Night Lights in the books what changes has Kurelic made to his Buckeye hot list?
When is Mitchell planning to visit tOSU?
Have you heard anything from Bell about an announcement date?
Come on Vonn Bell - We don't get many from Georgia but the ones we do get deliver nicely !!
You still think we don't take Munger as long as we have Hill even after Hayes has left?
A finish of Mitchell and/or McMillian, Bell, Lewis and 1 or 2 of Gibson/Allen/Foster/Whitfield/Quick/North would be a grand slam home run for this recruiting class. I will add, while I doubt we get him, Alexander is a talent you do not say no to.
Good writeup Bill. I the Hot List!
It's great to see Ohio State in Mizzell's top 5 twice. Hope that increases our chances to at least 40%.
What is the latest on the expected 2013 number? Do we have room to go to 21-22 total now that Hayes is out? Are we expecting any other exits now that fall practice has started? We would be in glreat shape if we could figure out a way to get 5-6 more in this class.
Great post Bill!

"It's great to be home." -Urban Meyer
In my opinion, if the Buckeyes get Mitchell and Bell, they will have a tremendous Defense over the next three to five years. Not just because of Mitchell and Bell, but because they will be added to the other Players already on the Team or committed. Adding Lewis would, of course, increase the outstanding potential of that Defense.
With that kind of a Defense, the Offense will be free to take a lot more risks - meaning it will be wide open. Speaking of the Offense, I hope that the Staff has already, or will soon, tell Foster that he must either commit now or we walk away and focus on Allen and Gibson. I know that Gibson has academic issues. Is it possible that they take Allen and then hope that Gibson goes to JC and then signs here next year?
Finally, now that they have Lisle and Gardner, who seems like a Right Tackle Candidate, is the Staff likely to walk away from Finley and focus upon the 2014 OL Prospects?

Bill, Do you see ANY commits or prospects this year that can fill the so called Percy Harvin role??
Curious that Dorian Johnson is not on the list. Did he reaffirm his commitment to Penn State?
Can't just run around like a nut!
I'm surprise Stevens didn't make the cut. Decommitted, and is now looking at tOSU. I think we have a greater shot landing him, then a Marquez North, although I would prefer the speedster from N.C.
Also I feel James Quick should of made the top 5. He has recently stated we are his co leaders with UL. I have no inside info, or sources, but this recruiting seems like it will end up in the Buckeyes favor. The "Home town flavor" will not be enough to land imo with other Trinity players leaving, unstabble coaching staff, and having no shot at a BCS championship. Ohio State is 2 hrs up the road, and we will gladly welcome him here.
LOVE hearing that news On Vonn Bell, still early in the process though.

Of we could close with bell gibson and Mitchell I'd be jumping for joy.
If we get those first three guys, I don't care who we finish up the roster with :-)
What is the number looking like for this class? Does the Kenny Hayes release open another schollie? Gimme: Bell, Mitchell, Lewis, Foster, Johnson (from psu).
