Look at Boyd's last two throws, only 2/3 QB's make those throws under duress after running 27 times and getting numerous others with sacks and QB hits.
Boyd's 3rd down toss to the TE and TD pass as bullet into coverage were NFL throws, not a of starting NFL QB's could make those two passes.
Eli Manning has two Super Bowl wins as a QB labeled as inaccurate, making poor decisions and error prone, sometimes making big plays when it counts in crunch time is all that matters.

dude are you serious, Boyd has all the tools..now that wilson got a shot, his Height wouldn't be such a big deal. But he can throw and has the arm strength and good football IQ.
the pure drop back days are kind of fading slowly, there will be room for those guys, but u have to have a little athletism now.

This game if Clemson loses, comes down to Clemson being Clemson.
First drive fumble, LSU TD.
Missed extra point that caused this two point gap.
Horrible special teams coverages.
A veteran RB fumbling on a not hard tackle, giving LSU a FG.
Mistakes could end up costing Clemson this game.
LSU with 3 straight passes, with Lerch Mettenberger? Are you kidding? Clemson bats the third down pass down, and Lerch had a bad throw on second down. A three and out and Clemson does not have to use a time out.
If LSU loses after that bad series, Miles will get roasted.

Really? Tell that Peyton Manning, Tom Brady and Drew Brees. Athleticism is great but only if you can throw the ball first with accuracy under pressure. Cam Newton is horrible example cause he isn't a good QB and won't win unless he can improve as a passer. RG3 is tremendoulsy accurate making his legs an accessory to his arm and not the opposite. Mobility within the pocket is important, otherwise freek athletism is over-rated in the NFL and always will be. Boyd has a completion percentage of 50% versus the AP top 25 this year and 40% in his career.

What a throw by Boyd on 4th and 16m right over the safety and floated in perfectly.
Clemson has close to 90 plays, they are wearing LSU's defense down. LSU has not seen this many offensive plays in a game in a long long time, throw in a dome, they are wearing out fast.
Clemson wins this and goes 11-2, big big program win.
How many times is Ed Cunningham going to elude to LSU's AA defensive players that have been torched most of the game?
