MJ was a great player, but if Lebron keeps this up, there will be no comparison. Now, can he keep this up? I don't know, but he seems to get better every year, and I think he hasn't hit his prime yet.
Compare Jordan to Lebron at the same age, and it is very close.

I was a huge Bird fan and Jordan was only dominated by the Celtics for his first 2-3 years(1 of which he was injured the whole year). The Pistons had Jordan's number the next 3-4 years and when he got over that hump there was no stopping him. He would've won 8-9 championships if it weren't for his baseball stint. Lebron is the superior specimen/athlete and may have better rebounding and assist stats when its all said and done but Jordan was a killer and he was way more clutch than Lebron. In the end it's who's going to take over the game when there's 2 minutes left and the game is tied against elite competition? My money's with Jordan. There will never be another and I guess time makes people forget.

I didn't know we were arguing who the best closer is..... If that's the case give me Jordan.

Something interesting to think about, the bulls went from like a 57 win team to a 55 win team when Jordan retired. They were still really good. As a Cavs fan it was painful to see how terrible we were without LeBron.

Great point. Look at the record of the Celtics before Bird, and then after he arrived in Boston. Lebron is the best example. Talk about MVP!

The Cavs lost a lot more than just LBJ after he left. So not quite the same.

as much as i dont like him for the WAY he left the cavs, i will agree, not with that hes better then jordan. but hes even closer to him now then he was last year. the NBA back then was a much different game. more physical alot more talent, and way more heart and all those players had so much pride vs todays NBA. but i have to give credit when credit is due. and he is with out a doubt playing the best he ever has.
