I realize it is just me and my opinion but to discuss who was the best quarterback is a waste of time. Hands down Braxton is the better quarterback and has more game experience and upside than Guiton. Guiton is a real plus though as he has established himself as an excellent back so we at least avoid ourselves of worry over the first injury at the position. As I viewed the Spring Game I saw some good parts (and cannot explain DeNardo's assessment of our talent other than he has never before displayed he knows what he is talking about) but the offense is still a work in progress. I think that once the units play together and have three to four games under their belts this offense will grade out a B. Then in 2013 they take the step to A rating. From an offensive standpoint my greatest area of concern is the lack of WR with YAC ability (seems as though D Smith is the only one we have at present with the potential of Southward joining him upon his entering the program). On the defensive side of the ball I have no concern and to examine individual players at this point is needless. Come opening game we will have so much depth (other than secondary) that we will sort it out to have a defense after four games that should grade out a B+ to A-. All in all I can see us being any worse than 10-2 this year.
