This is a very intersesting piece. Thanks Duane. I think Grant has the skills but no way do I believe we are deep enough at corner to move him over. Maybe we can get Philly some "Lester Hayes stickum." I still think he is the best option. Otherwise I think it is Smith.

Duane, I agree with part of what you said. Frankly, Fields was the guy that immediately came to my mind when thinking of somebody already on the roster that could fill this roll. I think it's much more suited to his talents. I'm not making any predictions that he will in fact become that impact players, but I do think he's the most likely candidate.

I disagree about moving Grant to offense. I think it's easier to find the type of offensive player we are looking for then to find great secondary people. Imagine, if (and it is a big if right now) everyone ends up living up to expectations, a secondary of Grant, Reeves, Woodard and Burrows is going to make a lot of offensive coordinators squirm.

I think Verlon Reed is the most under rated receiver of the whole bunch.
Had he not been injured, it would have been very interesting to see what he might have been able to do.
The staff started him for a reason much to my surprise, but differently deserved his starting position.
Braxton seemed to go to him as his possession receiver.
He is a hell of an Athlete.
