yea so basically you just wanted to say "let the meltdown begin in 3 2 1.." because you've seen it so many times in other places. Why would anyone be melting down over this?? I'm not going to bad mouth the young man and i wish him the best wherever he goes, but he isn't even the guy we want the most at his own position from his own garbage football state. There is a full year until signing day and we aren't desperate for DE's. He's good enough and we would take him, but melt down? Get a clue.

Personally I would like to have him just to keep him from AACC, but honestly, I don't think we need him that bad. Our D line is stacked even with attrition and there are a lot of guys in the 2014 class who are ahead of Marshall. This isn't an "oh he sucks, good riddins" post at all, but 50 weeks away from NSD, I am not worried about the 2nd best lineman in Michigan. So if there is a melt down here I would be very surprised.

Like most of us thought, it was out of emotion that he committed, I wouldn't consider it de commitment as much as I would an over reaction to a great time.

I think you gotta cut him loose. Let him know were moving on. If you keep the offer open you open it up for more recruits to do the same. I dont mind taking flips, i dont like it the other way around. No kid is bigger than the program.

all i know is this kid already stated the obvious reasons for his commitment. he will see he was dead with his decision to commit to TOS. OHIO STATE will get anyone they want when we go 25-0 under Urban Meyer.

Ehh. Can't blame the kid for seeing more schools and enjoying the process. That said, it's not like he committed to scUM either. He may end up coming back and recommitting some day.
I'm happy to ride with Urb's "best in the nation" strategy. So, we'll be fine whether he recommits or Urb & Co. find somebody as good or better.
