Thats all we need. Another suckey team.
that would be terrible
I think Maryland and Virginia offer great recruiting advantages but as far as competitive teams......not so much.
If it's "hush hush" why is it on the radio
Not sure I buy it. Maryland is decent in terms of type of school. I don't know how big of effect on the DC/Baltimore markey would have by bringing in Maryand.
In terms of a 14th (not that there is a rule to have an even # of teams)... no way on va tech. They are way down academically, Virginia is a top school, but I would be surprised to see either of those happen.
I think The Big Ten stays where they are for a while...can't see much movement
The RANT is a Romper Room for Degenerates - jwe
Should have taken Missouri. I thought Missouri was better fit for big ten than sec.
Who cares about recruiting when the teams you play week in and week out don't give you a chance to be competitive with the big dogs. You can recruit anywhere... We are recruiting in Maryland and VA right now. We've gotten a few players from those states. Those programs are awful and won't add to the conference athletically. I could care less about academics, I'm not the one in school. Hell, you can get an education at the local junior college for all I care. We're on Bucknuts to talk sports, not math and science. Get some programs in here that can ball. Go get Notre Dame, Texas, Oklahoma, V-Tech, hell... Oklahoma State. At least we know those teams are competitive year in and year out and should always give you some notoriety.
Ugh...here comes maryland and rutgers. Yuck
That would be awful.
Hail Hail to MeatChicken the Cesspool of the World!
I would take Maryland over Mizzou any day. Much better fit both academically and athletically and a way more fertile recruiting. Plus waaaaaay better TV market which meansore TV households.
Rumor might have been started by Penn Stater's wanting out of the B10. Maybe a trade, Penn State for Maryland. Don't think that's going to happen. Nebraska definitely wouldn't want the extra travel distance.
