I'm confused, how is he a big man (to play C or PF)? He's listed as an SF and is just 190 pounds. His game is obviously pointing towards SF as his position. I don't see a big man here at all.

McBrutus, likewise, I am very confused! "Big" to me is more 6'10"isn and 220-230. 6'8" 190 is a SF, but could grow to PF. He looks like he has room to grow, but not to be a "big"

Matta needs to sign someone that can score with his back to the basket and block shots. That is big to me.

Corn Elder is coming to OSU for an official visit in December, I hope Matta tells him he can play hoops when football is over if he commits, he would just add more disruptive quickness on defense and speed out there on the court for Big Ten play and the post season tourney. Ellington is doing this at South Carolina, and is very successful.

Corn Elder wouldn't see one minute of meaningful playing time for Matta unless there were a rash of injuries or a game when the top 10 players were all in foul trouble.

Charles Barkley was 6'6". And played underneath, Sully was around the same height 6'9". Height isn't everything. Long arms, verticle jump, aggresiveness, could all make him play bigger than 6'8". Yeah I'd like a 7 footer that can dunk without jumping but there are other things.

Right, but if you watch his highlight video, he's clearly a wing. He's a face-up kind of player. He reminds me of Evan Turner or LaQuinton Ross in that his highlight film includes a little bit of everything. He's definitely not a back-to-the-basket sort of player.

I agree with the LaQuinton Ross comparisons. He doesn't have the handles of Evan Turner.
