From real experience- out of 50 years of Marriage!

MAN: Buying a pair of shoes- He goes into the shoe store..spies a pair his size and the color he likes, has the clerk get his size, tries them on, says' "I'l l take them"....pays for shoes and leaves the store- time 3 minutes and 14 seconds.

WOMEN: Buying a Purse- She goes into the store, and goes to the Purse department- spies a purse she likes, and its the right color brown and she heads for the cashier, after a few minutes of looking at herself and the purse in the mirror. On the way to the cashier she see a tan purse that she also likes..goes back to the mirror and sees herself wiht the tan purse. She likes both of them, and can't decide which one. She calls the clerk over and asks her opinion.

The clerk says "both are nice,. and look good on you, the brown one is on sale and you can save your husband a few buck if you choose it:". The women puts down the brown one, and says, "then I probably will take the tan one". She heads for the cashier counter...on the way she sees Sally a friend at Church and they stand talking of about 45 minutes..the Women asks Sally about the tan purse she is about to buy and Sally says.."Oh, I bought that very same purse here last week".

Sally leaves, and the women goes back sets the tan purse down and picks the brown one back up. As she is heading to the cashier counter she spies and off-white purse that catches her attention...after
looking at her self in the mirror for another 15 minutes and trying to decide, she puts the off-white one down, goes back an picks up the tan one, and goes to the check out...she buys it(tan one) and takes it home....the next day after a sleepless night, she takes it back and tries to buy the off-white one, but it has been sold.....so she finds the brown one(that she had first wanted) and takes it to the counter for an exchange wiht the more expenive tan one(that the clerk recommended for price reasons and that Sally had purchased a week ago) after about 15 minutes of trying to get the adjustment settled

She gets here refund or credit for the more expensive tan purse she returned...she goes home....the next day her daughter buys her an off- white dress for a present...the women takes the brown purse back and buys the off-white purse(now in stock again) to match the dress!
total time : 3 days 14 minutes...sound familiar married guys ha ha...

Side note: The women also took back the billfold and belt her husband bought at the time of the shoe purchase(above), and tan belt becasue he bought brown shoes and a black billfold! Exchanged all for brown!
