"Then you are ignorant in how recruiting WORKS. Position Coaches don't recruit their position. Coaches Recruit Territories. They recruit any kid regardless of position in their area that they are assigned to recruit. Most of the time position coaches won't see these kids until they are on visits to the school. In some cases near the end of the recruiting cycle you will have Position coaches go out on the road to visit the specific kid they really want in the class."
You are the ignorant one if you don't think position coaches are not keenly involved in the recruiting of their positions. They are. Even if you are not equipped to deal with that then I'm sure you understand that recruits value their position coach in the decsion making pantheon very highly.
Aside for the HC the prospective recruits postion coach is the most vital member of the staff in a recruits mind.

What does recruiting for last year and 2013 have to do with OSU being 12-0? Was I complaining about the team? If so I missed that part. I am placing blame because I see a lot of the other coaches seem to be well connected in landing some top recruits but I haven't noticed the same for Zach Smith. I'm entitled to an opinion and I hold the WR coach accountable for recruiting WRs.
