I think they will eventually convince him he is a corner. At 170lbs it would be hard for him to get off of a jam as a receiver against SEC type corners. We have to think NC games and not B1G when recruiting now.

It's a stupid polict by him that because he has made such a stand it hard for him to back down. Sure this may have worked at Ball State or San Diego State where the recruit isn't sure he'll get another D-1 offer. Truth is most of the guys who go to Michigan, OSU, ND, Texas, etc... are going to have other big time offers. Oh no, you pulled my offer I'll just settle for Oregon or Ohio State. Worst case they get a full ride to a school like Wisconsin or West Virginia. He needs these kids far more than they need Michigan.

i havent gotten the chance to watch this kids film yet, if he "chooses" to play WR are we basically looking at another T. Jacobs from a size/speed/athleticism standpoint?

Haven't you noticed when a top ohio guy commits to scUM, we just write them off as Ohio's leftovers, that aren't good enough to play at tOSU? Same thing they're doing. They're disappointed that he decommitted (essentially), but trying to make themselves feel better.

Yeah too bad he's only the 255 ranked kid according to 24/7. I can guarandamtee that if he played in Georgia or texas he'd be ranked higher.

We NEED to get this kid... been watching him for two seasons now, and one season through an injury. As good as we thought he was last year, he is better!! Would love to see the Massillon kids start to prefer tOSU over scUM 100% of the time!! GO BUCKS!!! Get Devin Smith to work on him..... this kid's a winner!!
