This is the same thing Diddy was saying about our LB recruiting 2 years ago. We had no commits at this time that year and he was saying how we were going to need LBs so bad after that years LB recruiting. Well we ended up signing Shazier, Curtis Grant, Crowell, and Ejaun Price (since departed) that year. The point is relax. Signing day is months and months away. These kids haven't played their SR years of HS yet. And we just signed 5 pretty good LBs last year which means we will have 8 LBs in the program that are either FR or SO. With limited numbers LB is probably a place we can go without signing more than 1 and 2 at the most. Sounds like Lewis may be a Buckeye soon also. We will be OK if Mitchell does choose FSU.

I got my eyes on you anybody00, hope you are right.
We have a long list of wannabes I have defrocked.
I have no reason to doubt you.
As a side note:
I do concurr we have a young piepline of LB's and LB isn't ctical this year (Although other than Shazier none has played a meaningful snap). But I posit you never want to have a year where you completly wiff.
Dominant programs recruit every position every year (possible exception QB). That is not to say you need to take 3 every year, but you don't want a gooseegg.
Recall Meyers opening press conference when he singled out the LB's as sub par.
All it will take is a long phone call with Urban and the kid will re-think his FSU 'commitment'... Why does everybody always freak out over nothing... Nothing has happened yet. Even if the kid decides on FSU, oh well... There will be more.... Always is for us, we're a big time program guys. This isn't Michigan for crying out loud!
Isn't he a "package deal" with his brother? It'd be interesting to see Mickey commit to FSU instead of a top 10 hoops program.
Could this be another deal of "Daddy" want's something different for his son??? Seems as though his dad was playing a major role in his recruitment.
Just throwing this out there...
"Could this be another deal of "Daddy" want's something different for his son???"
As logocal as anything I've heard.
This is a case where the kid himself was actually quoted and video taped saying OSU was an overwhelming favorite.
After his performance in Oregon I doubt very much he didn't have a true offer.
In the other thread about rolling tweets, 11 warriors has stated it sounds as tho he is visiting this weekend. The kid is very tight lipped. Would not shock me that this is infact true. Let it play out folks.
take it FWIW but I asked rivals mike on twitter and he just responded that MM is not as high on OSU as he was 2 weeks ago.
This isn't a confirmed report, but does reference that Mike Mitchell may be visiting this weekend. I would love confirmation either way.
I agree Dave. Like I mentioned earlier we have 8 LBs in the program that are either FR or SO. LB isn't much of a need in this class. If we can get an elite or two you take them. If not you move on and use the scholly at another position of need.
