As amazing an athlete as he is, his junior tape didn't show especially good LB instincts. Apparently his summer combine performances showed something similar since he was never mentioned as one of the best LBs (but always one of the best athletes) at these events. His senior tape looks much better from the instincts point of view, he still has a ways to go before he stops using his athleticism to make up for mistakes in reading and reacting to the offense.

Your comments make it sound like he may not be ready to make much of a contribution on defense next season. Your thoughts? Duane?

Not real concerned about stars. Hawk and Laurenitus were both 3 stars and they were great Buckeyes.

Trey Johnson will start before Mitchell does IMO. He has great instincts, good size, and is a prototype MLB.

So why is everyone so concerned about "stars?" They don't tell that much at this point. Just get them in and Urban will develop them.....and stop worrying about their stars and our rankings.
