Just saw a series of tweets from Mo Clarrett saying he is going to be at Ohio State for the first time in nearly 10 years tomorrow on game day, said he is more excited than the players.
Maurice has paid his dues and his time, we do not win a national title without MoC, not even close.
Welcome back IMHO and keep walking the straight line.
What could have been? He comes back in 2003, I still say we go back to back national titles.
No doubt. We'd go back to back our offense was anemic that year
Welcome back Mo!
He has done his time. Admitted his mistakes. He's also been very very open about his love for Ohio state. I think it's awesome he will be there.
Welcome back MO MO
My sentiments exactly, welcome home.
We all make mistakes, the kid has paid his dues, we do not win a national title without big Mo, no way.
Welcome back big Mo!
Awesome to see him there. Would love to see Tress there too but alas.
Can he suit up? Lol
His life could have been vastly different if it were not for Andy Geiger's over-the-top suspension. Who knows what would have happened had he received a reasonable 6-game suspension, which would have still been greater than other schools would have given (and were giving) for similar offenses. Also, see Pryor's, et al, offenses and penalties by comparison.
Better not wear my #13 Dumb Ass jersey, ha ha. Time heals all wounds but I am still salty about what could have been. I remember reading an article about how Tressel had agreed to let Mo live off campus in an apartment freshman year.. and thinking that is trouble in the making.
I will always remember Mo stripping the ball from Sean Taylor after that interception. What an athlete both those guys were.
Eddie George, Simply the best
Welcome back MoC! He's come such a long way. Very happy he got his life back on track.
Any chance he can play tomorrow? :-)
And I shall rejoice in victory for another 365 days over That School Up North.
I agree. Mo was a kid who had his head full of grandeur. The kid had the potential to be an OSU legend and blew it. Hes been through enough and as far as Im concerned its ancient history. Like him or not we arent talking about a National Title without him. Its just a shame he didnt reach his potential.
