As far as hoops is concerned, the ideal scenario is that Q Ross blows up this Summer and solidifies a starting spot.Then, as mentioned, Thompson spells him and maybe some time at the 2 guard position as well as a defensive specialist. 2013-14 could be a banner season and we won't get there without at least one of the two guys. So even if Ross kills it this season and turns pro you still have a JR Thompson who should have a more polished offensive game by then. The fact that they're cool with each other also puts to bed a transfer possibility if he doesn't start this season. I've seen very little offense from him (or any of our FR from last year to be honest) to warrant a starting spot. Very relieved to hear that Amir has the 5 spot just about locked up though. I had a fear he wouldn't develop as expected and Thad would go with a smaller starting lineup featuring Ravs in the middle.
