**Urban Myth? … Unless you are a Buckeye fan that has been locked up in a cave for the past month, you almost certainly have heard the rumors about Urban Meyer taking over at the helm of the Ohio State football program. Most of the speculation is along the lines of when the announcement will be made rather than whether or not it will happen.

Well, here is the other side of the coin.

According to a source that is close to the Buckeye football program, the source would not be surprised if Meyer does not become the next Ohio State football coach.

“Urban is a guy that likes to be courted,” the source said. “And that comes from someone that knows him pretty well. Yeah, it might happen. But I wouldn’t be surprised if it didn’t. I guess you could say I will believe it when I see it.”

We think we just heard a collective thud all across Buckeye Nation. Are there those who have camped out on the Urban Won’t Coach in 2012 side? Sure. Is the other side more populated and looking for extra seats to accommodate crowding? Yes.

^^ This scares me. I really hope Buckeye Nation doesn't get crushed. I want Meyer as head coach so bad - I just hope it happens and won't be 100% happy until he signs the dotted line and does his presser. This is going to be a long two weeks.
