My first memory of great buckeye teams was the 1968 team. Thanks for mentioning the 73 team. As great as woody was he would have been crucified in the internet era. Blown national championships in 69, 70 of which both teams were equal to 73. The 74 and 75 teams also blew national championships. I defend tressel because I endured the heart breaking 3 yards and a cloud of dust. Today's spewers I mean posters have no idea when they complain about conservative play calling.

Mr. Bucknuts: With the reference to the 2005 Buckeyes, they defeated ND in the Fiesta Bowl. The 2006 team (without Hawk, Carpenter, Holmes) lost to Urban Meyer/Florida.

Football drives the bus at OSU... if you didnt know that already then you don't know much about OSU. In another article I read that OSU football brings in about 60 million in revenue compared to about 17 million for basketball. The basketball team is playing in the final four and I more worried about Olinemen that were interested in us committing to Notre Lame. I just want the spring game to get here so that we can pick up a few more commits ourselves.

Craft started at safety and qb for all three years he played in high school. He was all-state at safety as a soph., then all-state as a qb as a junior. He did not play his senior year, spending the time preparing for OSU. Time well spent.

Same thought.....I was concerned we were never going to win a championship if we couldn't win it with that 1998 group.

Wow - ..."bad taste", "Disrespectful", "Perpetuates the divide." Really ? Seriously ? It's a freakin article about the football team during a week or two when most everything has been about the b-ball team. What "divide" ? Are there really angry mobs of basketball and football fans that hate each other ? There has been a huge amount of coverage (and pretty well done) about the basketball Bucks and I've really enjoyed it but I have also been reading the daily football stories as well. Have I too been disrespectful ? Why do you have to criticize this at all ? This is really digging for something to bitch about. Ridiculous whining over nothing.
