I'm all for switching it up for 1-2 games a year. It's part of the 'cool factor' and that probably does make a difference with recruits.

I totally disagree with those of you who say "never change the helmets...it's tradition."
Those helmets look awesome and ALL styles will need refreshing to stay up with the times and popular with the young. It's not a gimmick. It's just modern.
I like the first ones on that page.
I say go for it and change them permanently!

....do those helmets look cool? Yes....for the most part.
....should we change our uniform or helmets? NO! Our scarlet jersey/silver bullet helmet is one of the best in college football, as is.
