I think when we find out the ncaa ruling it will either open or close the door on some coaches. We've got to remember that PSU,TEXAS and as crazy as this sounds Notre Dame may all be looking for that big name coach. I like Meyer and hope he's our next coach but it may take some big money. I just really hope this is his dream job. Who ever they hire they need to make it known before the end of the season that way our recruits know. If we had landed the QB Boyd at clemson we may not be talking about this.

I know a lot of people are sternly against this but I am very intrigued by Jon Gruden and what he could potentially do at the college level. I know people are going to say he was only relevant bc he won a super bowl with Tony Dungy's team but he also turned around the Raiders. Although, I know this situation is highly unlikely..

I agree. I really believe if Tressel stepped down in January and we even got Beckman from Toledo, we would be 5-0 or 4-1 at worse. Beckman goes wild cat, throws screens, misdirections and all kind of up tempo offense that uses all his offensive weapons. If we had his offensive genuis with Miller with this defense, I really believe we are 5-0. Bollman is a clown. This bozo is going to retire with a lot of money due to Tressel carrying his dead ass and making him look good. Nick Sicliano, another D1AA coach at best. Doc Tressel, no other big time program wants him.

TIm Beckman. Tressel disciple w/o the baggage. Operates his program based on how Tressel did so to speak. He is a D guy, which mean he will have to hire an O-coordinator.
Bottom line is, all the Tresselites need to go. There is no room for half measures any more.
No retreads or premadonnas like Urban Skip, Pelini.
I want the next upcoming tressel like hire like he was from ysu.
I think that is TIm Beckman. AND he has GREAT relations with Ohio coaches.
If I could wave a wanf, it would be Bob Stoops. But he ain't coming...Skip is a wanna be, Pelini is crazy and I don't want his offensive staff, Dantonio and Fickell should both be DQed after today. Urban always rubbed me the wrong way, and there is more Florida baggage then we want to know.
Therefore, I give you TIm Beckman.

We are irrelevant at this time and I really wonder if a top coach will be willing to come considering the mess he is going to inherit. We have to break ties with the Tressel era and move forward. I love Fickell, but it is pretty apparent that he is not ready to be a head coach at this level. I'm even tired of watching our defense sit back and try to avoid giving up big plays while letting teams move the ball on us.
