The country’s No. 2 safety prospect, Vonn Bell, visited Ohio State earlier this month. Bell has plenty of great things to say about the visit and Buckeye coach Urban Meyer.

Better take a little time to think about it but don't wait to long we could be full in 15 days! This kid would be a huge huge get for us as a safety behind our DL and backers!

You know we'd find a spot for guys like Bell, Jaylon Smith, and Pocic, even if we 'fill up' before they commit. They're just too talented to pass up.

The expiration date on this offer is much longer than most I would expect. Maybe when Bosa and Analzone join the class this weekend it will have an effect on this young man but I would imagine he will wait to become a Buckeye at least until August.

You make a spot for Bell regardless.
Another kid with family in Ohio, and is comfortable with Ohio and OSU.
Meyer blew him away.
If OSU ends up with Bell, Woodard, Burrows and Thompson, I am dancing with joy on that DB class.
Meyer is pulling in kids from Texas, Florida, Georgia and a few other types regions, truly elite kids, that only Ohio State will get in the Big Ten with Urban!

It would be HUGE if Bell commits to the Bucks but he still has visits in front of him. Right now we have to be happy at where we stand though. We need a playmaker at the safety position and Bell looks like a beast on his video. He would be one of the biggest stars in the class should we land him.

Similar post visit comments to another out of state ubber elite player in Curtis Grant last year and we know how that turned out. I don't think he's the type to be swept off his feet by Nick Satan and his football, football, football and nothing else approach plus the fact that he has fam in Ohio as well is a huge edge for us. I'd be shocked if the Buckeyes at minimum aren't at least one of a few hats on the table in front of him when he decides.
