No Love For Buckeyes on "Game Day" Show!

  • All four(or at least 3 who call themselves experts ) picked Michigan State in the game today over Ohio State....One of them said(I think the fat former ND Coach) "too much Payne"....Bil-ass said "too much Appling", These guys are a trip...all they can talk about is the ACC and The Big East, and PAC 10...completely totally ignore the B10. Now I know those leagues have their Championship games today...but.....we are the BEST League right? I don't think these guys really follow basketball that close but go with names.....they love that little whiner Izzo...we beat them by 8 just 3 weeks ago...they never are giving us a chance......I think they are still cleaning out their diapers from the shock of Maryland beating Duke and Georgetown going down last night.

    All I need see now is Ed Hightower or Ted Valentine calling our game tonight and I will probably need one of those diapers too...ha ha..

    I didn't watch them this morning, but ESPN analysts have consistently said that the Big Ten was the best conference all year. I don't think they've ignored them. I know we want the Big Ten to get all the attention, but there are other conferences, teams and fan bases...

  • It's really very simple. The talking heads have their vision of what the college hoops landscape SHOULD look like and a football school kicking the ass of supposed basketball schools year in and year out ruins this ideal. I absolutely love it!

  • What I did like was seeing the CBS crew later, and excuse me for not knowing people, but the afro-american former guard from North Carlonia said(after we had beaten the Spartans).."I would not be surpised to see Ohio State in the Final 4, they have one of the best Defenses in the nation"...Wow, now that's more like it!! ha ha..

  • Probably....he had on a gray suit and seemed the most intelligent. I guess I am tired of those other ACC, Big East, SEC talking heads like Digger Phelps, Jay Bill-ass, and others who can't see past Duke, Georgetown, Gonzaga, Lousiville in their talk.....while they talk about the Big 10..we get no real pomps.....I remember last years tourney when we played Gonzaga and they
    were going to " tear up" Ohio State wiht their quickness and size......and we beat them rather easily...then no one goes back and rmemberes what they said!

  • Digger Phelps is awful, at least once a show he eludes to and they show ND beating UCLA to end that long win streak, he sure has no national titles to show, and they never show Ainge driving the court and BYU knocking ND out. He tries to play Bray and ND are legit sometimes as well.
    I usually mute Vitale, his screaming for Duke is old hat, he had to be crying when some nobody knocked them out of the tourney round 1 last year, just like Arizona embarrased them the year before in a blow out win in the NCAA.
    Duke got beat by a double digit Maryland twice, blown out by Miami and lost to Virginia, they should not win a #1 seed, in a very down ACC not winning it.
    Right after MSU beat NW last Sunday, Izzo did a post game we are going to knock down the front door bit, and many jumped on that and said MSU was going to win the Big Ten tourney now, Izzo was fired up. Bye bye MSU.
    Too much "Appling", Appling is the big reason MSU loses a lot of the games they do, with his turnovers, erratic shooting, bad judgement and miss free throws in crunch time.
    I bet they picked Crean and Indiana over UW, another game they got wrong.
