    I've heard this stuff many times in the past when Bucknuts has changed boards. After about a 2-3 weeks, it's all forgotten and the complaining is over.

    BS, this is horrid. BN's was great. I've definitely dumped boards over there poor UI.

    Hopefully, ppl don't just blow this off as you are suggesting.

  • Can they please fo something with the mobile site? All I get is news and forums. Can't look at any recruiting databases or anything. Could always get that with bn. I'm not at my computer enough. Please upgrade the mobile site.

    On the new site, I don't see an option. The oldest post comes up first and you have to scroll to the end to get the latest. Am I missing the place to pick an option here?

    On the list of the different threads, you can see on the left an envelope. When there is a new post, it appears green. I just click on that, and it goes to the last posting.

    The closest that I will ever get to a Buckeye ring or Gold Pants. Saw it sold on e-bay April 29, 2011 for $8500.

    When I hit the envelope.it goes to the. last page but not the last post. Bbig difference with so many post on the page

    This is coming. We're going to be focusing heavily on mobile. You should see some features you're asking for, like a recruiting database, fairly soon, and a whole lot more as we roll things out (some features are really, really cool - I think you'll like them). We also are in development on apps for iPhone, iPad, and Android to start.

  • Well since Steve said that they just migrated to this forum on Sunday, i'm gonna give it some time to let the admins put in more options and let the system mature. That being said, these forums lack some very basic functionality that exists in most other forums. The lack of being able to format text, insert bb code/html into a post and preview replies is huge. Also, these forums were not written with open html standards in mind as the attachment features do not work using Chrome (they work fine in IE, big surprise). I could care less about the overall style of the forums: color, layout, etc. However, i cannot just "get used" to something that lacks very basic features. My online gaming group has a way better forum and we don't even charge for membership. So we shall see if any features are added here shortly...if not, i'll be officially scratching my head and face palming at these forums.

    Yep, give it time. This is the second incarnation of their boards. Just released Sunday. My guess is it will grow and get better. 247 is all about community, so they'll want the best boards.

    It's not bad, but what happened to the basketball schedule, commits, prospects, etc. ? Is there a way to access that information other than going to the old bucknuts site?

If it's a photo, are you uploading from your computer, or linking to a photo online somewhere?

  • I really don't like how hard it is to tell the new threads and it's hard to tell how many pages there are, posts, etc.

    Not impressed by the forums. I like the stories though.

  • The only that that I really complain about is the quick reply function at the bottom of the threads. That makes it even more user friendly but other than that I like the board so far.

    Ok, that's good to know. Sorry for jumping to conclusions. The attach stuff works at home, just didn't work on my laptop. Maybe i need to switch to the Chrome dev channel on my laptop.

  • I agree, I'm not liking it so much. I've only logged in on my iPhone so I don't know what the actual website is like. It seems updated in ways, but not as good...maybe it will just take time to get used to...

    I'm on the latest stable version of Chrome for the Mac and am able to attach photos such as the one below. Could it maybe be one of your extensions?
