Not too impressed with the board format

I dont like that you can't see the number of pages on the main screen or in the thread, and that you have to go all the way to the bottom to change pages.

I don't understand why people are so upset about losing their post counts. They mean nothing and this is coming from someone who had 20,000+. I think the reputation feature is much better then post counts, if used right.

I agree. The reputation will never be used correctly in my mind, but it is a fun feature. It promotes groupthink in my mind. If you have a borderline opinion and cared about your rating then you would not speak it since it would cost you down votes.

That shouldn't be happening. Can you tell me what browser and version you're using so I can look into fixing the problem? If you could attach a screenshot of what you're seeing that would also help.

I've managed to fix it by altering my settings in Internet Explorer to less of a zoom. I have it at 100% and there's still a tiny sliver missing but I can see the people on the board count (I can see 246 where previously it said 2) and the pages on the thread.

Well I just gave you a down vote for that shaun. J/K don't even know how don't care to anyway. I mean all it would take would be one poster to do that several times. I think the vote thing is stupid.

I don't think that will be too much of a problem actually. I think the biggest problem with the feature is people interrupting threads and asking for an up and they'd return the favor. I've been to other boards that have a similar feature and it happened all the time.

And the 5 stars thing under the username, I had 5 stars under my username reallytired2 before bucknuts came over here And I wondered wtf is this ??? Is there like a one star at first ? So what. Seems like a step back IMO.

It seems to me the old BN would track what threads you had read no matter what computer you are on. Does this site do the same? It seems to me only threads I read from this computer are highlighted as tracked. Other computers are different. Am I correct?.
Also, when I right click the "New Post" green envelope, I don't get an option to "Open in a New Tab" like I used to. Is there a setting I can change as some people report they can do this.

It just seems the site was rolled out before it was ready. The site is very basic and missing alot of the bells and whistles we are use to on Bucknuts.
Just need to give it time, not like we have a choice! We shall see!
