Numbers please

  • When recruiting...numbers that can be recruited ...is very important. I believe we have 11 now. Even though the numbers game is an inaccurate science...can someone give what the final recruiting number might really be for the class of 2013? We have lost of players who have transferred or left because of disciplinary or other reasons. I keep hearing 18 or 19 as the max number of recruits for this class of '13. Is that a true number? A friend of mine said that 21 or 22 is probably closer because he sees more players leaving this summer opening up spots. Can Steve, Dave, Duane, Bill, Mr. Bucknuts, or whomever give us a REALISTIC number?

    I said 6 months ago the number will be 20+ and was openly mocked by some.

    I think people are starting to understand my gravitas.

    Attrition happens everywhere and all the time. It happens at an accelerated pace with a new coach. It happens at even a greater pace with a coach like Meyer who is demanding and view recruiting as powerfully as he.

    If the staff wants to take 22 they will take 22. End of discussion.
