  • THis win will not take the sting off losing to them twice last year almost exactly like the year OSU beat Florida after FLorida defeated OSU for the national title.

  • We certainly owe them for 2 losses last year...this time we get them at home so hpefully that will be the difference....great to see Duke & Florida last year, Kansas this year on our non-conf home schedule.

  • Hopefully the third time's the charm! I'm still not convinced they were the better team last season but to their credit they prevailed and we didn't. I REALLY wanted to give Kentucky some go on Monday but I digress...

    Here is a good KU synopsis heading into 2012-13 from the scout board.

    Lose: Thomas Robinson & Tyshawn Taylor - Pretty much the whole team for the majority of last season.

    Retain (4 seniors): C: Jeff Withey - Set NCAA record for blocks in tourney, PG: Elijah Johnson - Made huge plays in almost every tournament game for us, SF: Travis Releford - 5 year player, excellent defender, PF: Kevin Young - You guys might remember him from the game in Allen last year.

    1 (soph) - Naadir Tharpe - Top 100 back up PG fighting for minutes to back up Johnson.

    8 (frosh) - YES 8 FRESHMEN!!!!!!

    PF: Perry Ellis - 6'8 - Only McD's All-American on the team

    SG: Ben McLemore - Top 35 guy, will be a starter and depended on for scoring

    SF: Andrew White - Top 50 guy, 3 point shooter

    PG/SG: Anrio Adams - Top 100 west coast guy

    PF: Jamari Traylor, PF: Zach Peters, PG: Milton Doyle, C: Landen Lucas - All 3 star guys that we are hoping to find 1-2 players from eventually.
