I wish we would run away with it but something in my gut tells me it will be a nailbiter (as many of our games have been this season). After all, it's the toughest team we'll play all year, it's the rivalry game (which Hoke even admitted to setting aside time from each practice for the "Ohio" game, it's against a spread offense (notably one we haven't seen more than one game's worth of film for because they just started using D-Rob at RB) and spread offenses have given us fits this year, their defensive coordinator is very good and you can bet your ass that after giving up 34 points last year (well above their average), he is ready to shut our offense down (not to mention the Wisconsin game tape will show him how to stop Braxton Miller), and scUM has more talent across the board than any team we've faced (while Dick Rod sucked at recruiting, the scUM name still gave them some good talent and Brady Hoke landed a helluva good class last year). I don't know what we're going to do differently. Meyer hasn't mentioned setting aside extra time from each practice to prepare for that team. We do know that our offense looked anemic on Saturday (perhaps he's hiding his hand) and that he has absolutely dominated all of the rivalries he's coached in.
I'm on the fence with this one. I think we win, but it will be a close one. Maybe the good guys 31, scUM 28 or something like that, with Drew Basil hitting that game winner with time expiring.

This team is capable of dropping 50 on anyone let alone this scUM defense. Stoneburner needs to make some plays because the TE will be open ALL day. I wouldnt bash a high scoring prediction with Urban at the helm

That said, I'm sure Urban and Herman will adjust and hopefully prepare for what Wisky threw at us Saturday.

Michigan D is not good you will never get me to think otherwise. Big Ten offenses they have faced are brutal.

I think you have a pretty good point. NW dropped quite a bit on them and that is the most complete offense outside of Bama and including ND they have seen. especially seeing how bad the ND QB's both were at game 3. Even though Nebraska didn't drop a ton, Burkhead was out and TM is awful passing the ball.

We have to be more balanced. NW proved they don't have elite defenders to cover shifty players in space. Not that our offense is oozing with them yet but it proved extremely effective. You know hoak and Mattison will sell out to stop Braxton. The intermediate pass game will be there. We need get them in their heels a bit and pound it with Hyde. I will admit they have good downhill defenders that are not the defenders when we whooped up on them.
My biggest concern will be stopping the variation they throw at us. The option with denard taking the hand off scares me. We haven't seen a lot of option football and Air Force almost beat them. I'm not sold yet on my prediction but our defense against their variation not their personnel is what scares me.

Sunday night prediction. Urban will have them ready Brax will play as well as we've seen, and the emotion of the teams leaders make some big plays and we win 35-24
