OT: Browns and RG3

So I posted another thread about this recent, but now that RG3 has been measured and worked out at the combine; with the exception of throwing. Has anyone changed their mind about trading up to get him? From what I read on this ESPN article it sounds like the Browns have the most realistic shot to land that pick and draft him. And he could be theirs to lose. Check it out.

I just can't dump the 4th and 22nd picks for him. They need a QB, no doubt, but there are too many other areas of need where they can get quality help right now!

I wouldnt do it. I'm still not sold on him as a passer. I don't care how fast he is, if he's not big like Cam Newton he's not gonna last long running on NFL defenses.
browns should take offensive playmakers with their 2 #1's and do WHATEVER IT TAKES to get Matt Flynn. Trading two #1's to move up two spots would be a mistake.

I really think that this workout means that the Browns won't see him at 4. They will have to trade up, but I have no idea what they will need to get him. Not a Browns fan, but I think that they have a good enough offensive line to protect him so I would go for it. My concern about a QB is the oline. Somewhere like Washington is going to give up picks, but it will be crazy tough for him to succeed due to a lack of olineman and then no picks.

Hard not to like him even more after what he did at the combine, but if the asking price is 3 #1 picks from the Rams.. which is what's currently being rumored... then forget it. I think teams should tell the Rams to go jump in a lake and call their bluff and make them pick the guy they want at #2.

I agree that they shouldn't make the trade and I am a Steelers fan. However, he is the real deal on passing. He can hit all areas of the field with accuracy. He may throw the best deep ball I have seen in a long time. Not sure what the Browns should or shouldn't do, but make no mistake, he can pass.

Also a steelers fan so I don't know the Browns roster as well as you guys, but I wouldn't trade up to get him. Browns have plenty of needs and I don't think it's worth additional first rounds picks to chance it on a QB. There is a lot of talent early in the draft, why not take a sure fire stud like Trent Richardson and maybe hope to get a RT in Adams late in the first.

I agree. Pluto has. It right unless you are going to tailor your offense for him he's not worth the draft picks.

I think that Colt would be MUCH improved if the Browns drafted one of the playmaking wide receivers. So no, I wouldn't trade up to get RG3.
