I'm a blues guy so Roy Buchanan, SRV, Albert Collins, Buddy Guy and Muddy waters for the old timers. I'll go with Jonny Lang and Kenny Wayne Shepperd for the young guns.

Playmea, just read the thread and was waiting for Robert Johnson...great call. All good contributions,I'll throw in a personal favorite of mine , Joe Walsh. Has a recognizable "flair" to his playing, Check out Seven Bridges Road sometime (w/ Eagles).

Mark's solo project album is almost done I beliieve. I freakin love AB... Myles is my favorite singer right now for sure. Guitarists other than Mr. Tremonti would be in no particular order... Jerry Cantrell, SRV, Kirk Hammett, Andy Mckee, John Mayer and of course Myles Kennedy. Check out his stuff from when he was in The Mayfield Four... bluesy and awesome!!

I for got the most important influence on my playing of all people... Randy Rhoads. honorable mention to other Ozzy guitarists Jake E. Lee, Brad Gillis, and Zakk Wylde... how could I forget those...

I saw Clapton 2 years ago. He is a great musician/songwriter, but he's not even the best guitarist in his own band.
