    I lived in Mt Pleasant across the bridge for three years. IOP is very quiet with a nice beach. Sullivans Island just to the south has some ok restaurants and bars. Dunlevys Pub is a must. Cash only. Free popcorn. Great draft beer selection. Across the street is Poes which has great burgers and beer. The Boathouse restaurant is a must. It sits right between IOP and SI and has good seafood and killer views.

    Agree with boathouse recommendation. Some of the best seafood I have had anywhere.
