I don't know if he did it or not and really don't care to be honest but I think MLB screwed up when he offered a DNA test and they declined to take it. He put everything on the table and they were to pussy to take it. Probably out of fear of embarrassment of him passing it. I think thats why the arbitrator ruled in his favor. The collector sounded very believeable about his transactions with the sample. I'm sure he had the arbitrator pretty convinced also but the fact that MLB did't want to take his DNA was all he needed to see that they didn't want to fully cooperate. It makes me believe he was clean... But I would like to see him do the DNA test anyway and show the world that he is clean regardless.

This will be because he doesn't have Fielder to protect him in the lineup.....that will be the line if this occurs....

To be clear, MLB does not get 'false positives' otherwise the players union would never have approved testing.

PED's are evolving constantly in laboratories. The old days of Canseco's 'roids or Bond's HGH hulkimania are past. That means the symptoms of PED use will change too (no more pimply Sammy Sosa wearing the tell tale signs on his face.) It is a critical misstep and too simplistic to look at Braun's physique in the initial evaluation (no one would have considered Manny much of a juicer with his moobs).

The crux of Braun's case was 'chain of custody' not tampering. Braun had synthetic testerone in his sample but because the 3rd party arbitrator (probably from the legal community) felt uncomfortable with MLB's approved storage and shipping system, he cast the deciding vote to overturn the sentence.

MLB who had just made him the NL MVP and had every reason to give him the benefit of the doubt, did not buy his argument. It was the arbitrator and the players union rep who exonerated Braun.

Totally agree with you. I think he got popped, and got off on a technicality. He should take some advise from another Wisconsin resident, and "deal with it"!
