To all my fellow Bucknuts,

I just wanted to personally thank all of you that took the time to reply to my thread on my surgery. It was to say the least, overwhelming to see so much support from so many people. It is humbling that this website and Buckeye fans at large may disagree on certain subjects but rally around a "Buckeye" cause. I can tell you that all the prayers and positive thoughts were extremely well received.

I was released yesterday afternoon from the hospital and the surgery was a success. The Dr. was able to remove a "large gum-ball" size mass from under my right ear. It was a little deeper than they expected but with some extra digging they were able to remove it. The initial diagnosis from the on-site pathologist was that the mass was benign. Final results should be completed in the next day or two but the Dr. was very positive on the results.

There was no nerve damage so I have full use of the right side of my face. It is numb and expected to stay that way for the next month or two until feel gradually returns. There is a nice indentation on the right side of my head that can be used as a dip bowl right now. My wife suggests we fill it with guacamole or cheese queso.

On a what I consider to be a funnier note. When I was waking up in recovery, the nurse asked me how I was feeling. I told her that I was a little thirsty, a little horny and wanted to know if Michigan still sucked. She gave me water, laughed nervously at my second comment and stared at me on my third. They wheeled me to my room where my wife was waiting and she asked me how I was feeling. To which I replied, I was a little thirsty, a little horny and I wondered if Michigan still sucks. My wife, helped me with some water, told me that soon the second request would be taken care of and then told me that Michigan will always suck and yes they still do. Man I love her.

Again, I can't thank you all enough. My wife read every one of your posts and she too was overwhelmed by the support. It just proves again whey Buckeye fans are the best in the world.

I can't wait to be active on the boards again. There have been so many interesting threads that I want to weigh in on but this will have to do for right now.
