Horseshoe in Hammond, Ind. is awesome, not much there other than the casino, not even a hotel there (there should be), they have a great buffet there
MGM in Detroit is awesome, great steakhouse there
They changed Casino Windsor to a Caesars property and I understand you can sports bet some parlays there. I have not been there in last 5 years but have to think it's nice. Sucks you need a passport to cross the border. They've made that process a real pain in the behind.
The casino in downtown St. Louis looks nice, but since OSU got bounced by Tennessee there 2 years ago we never made it there.
They are building a new Hollywood Casino in Kansas City and that will be real nice, I bet.
Haven't been to Argosy since they changed it to Hollywood but that was always OK.
Loved an overnight at Caesars outside Louisville, they have a connected golf course (about 5 miles away but discounts, etc.). Great place. Amazing steakhouse (Portico, I believe)
Looking forward to Cols having a Hollywood Casino soon (as well as Cincy and Cleveland downtown there as well). Too bad they put it near Westland Mall. It needed to be downtown by arena (45 hockey games a year) and Huntington Park (65 baseball games a year). That's their clientele. For us living on east side, that will be a schlep over there to a nowhere destination.

I live in Illinois and have a couple days off in march. I was thinking about taking the girlfriend to a casino resort. We have been to all the ones in St Louis and would like to try somewhere new. I was online looking at Blue Chip in Michigan City IN, also casinos in Kansas City.. Windsor is too far for me. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!
