Great pick-up for NW. I thought Odenigbo might have been over hyped, but he looked great in the Under Armour game.

Not a wise move on Stanford's part. We're not talking about making an exception for some kid who has a 17 on his ACT or something. Odenigbo is very intelligent, yet they won't let him in? I feel bad for their head coach. Well, now that he doesn't have a stacked roster that Harbaugh left him led by Andrew Luck.
I'm happy for Northwestern though. Great get for Fitz.

Good for Ifeadi. I am also a huge fan of Norhtwestern with Fitzgerald right now, especially for a defensive guy.

I agree 100% at under armor game he put a spin move on a OT that made him look silly. He was fast and raw and with good coaching he'll play in the NFL!

Marv Levy wrote about this in his coaching book. Basically said you can spend all your time working with potentially good players that may pan out and, by the time they do, they will probably be playing for someone else. Or you can bring in already good players and help them get better. You can guess which one he thought built better teams and let a coach keep his job.

Great choice for him...excellent academics, coach, and solid football and still within a day's drive...will be watching him develop.

Good luck to him, but it's time to adjust his life goals.
NWU doesn't have a top-ranked CIS program, which is his stated goal. If he really wants to work at Google, etc. (and couldn't qualify for Stanford), he could have done better picking about half the other B10 schools over NWU.
