    Get a real qb and not another project. Hopefully he goes to clemson. No loss, another 4 year guy who will have one good year passing the ball. these guys should go to a junior college and learn how to be a qb rather than cause fans the suffering as they watch a kid with 10th grade level skills try and run a big time program. Hope Clemson closes the deal so we can get a Passer ready QB for a change. A huge waste of time an airplane money on this dud.

    This kid broke the Georgia passing record and still has a year to go. I know that breaking a record with 14 or so games left to play doesn't mean much, but I would venture to guess that none of the quarterbacks you are wishing for can make the same claim. Imagine if Adrian Peterson broke Dickersons record, but still had 14 games to play....pretty elite wouldn't you think. Go back to your regularly scheduled trolling somewhere else.

  • I prefer guys who want to be Buckeyes! Of course, the Staff has much more information than I do about the abilities of the various 2014 QB Candidates and also about Watson's real intentions. But, I do know that Barker definitely sounds like he wants to be a Buckeye. I do know that Barker has a rating of 93 and is the number 3 dual threat QB in the Class. If I was calling the shots, I would have offered both of these two guys and taken both if they committed. If only Barker commits, I would consider myself fortunate.

  • That is my thought exactly, another undefeated year at TOSU and you will see alot of kids looking in our direction, and possibly flipping that is if we want/need or have enough room for them.

    Thank god you aren't "calling the shots"... Yes the staff and many others have more "information" than you. National championship teams aren't made up of all players who wore scarlet and gray diapers. We are not the only state with talent. An Ohio high school all-star team would not win the national title. Get over yourself (well, I'm from OHIO so ourselves). Our university is great because it attracts talented individuals from around the world. It definitely makes it a little sweeter when a kid bleeds S&G from day 1 but saying you're over and done with an absolute stud who isn't quite sure yet before he even plays his senior season is laughable. No need to up vote this, but please down vote if you'd like to see pdan take over for Urban...

    Sorry, not done yet. Have you seen our current roster? Or the one that made up the '02 title team? Remember how our recruiting class didn't crack the top 25 by season's end last year? But ended up top 5 by signing day 2 months after Urban was hired? I'll go ahead and assume those late commits/flips weren't sure they wanted to be buckeyes during their junior year. Have a little faith my man. Not a personal attack, but please keep posting on bucknuts so we can correct you before you take that nonsense public..

    Agree (+1) plus Alumnut (+1)...Things are still a year down the road and too many top schools being mentioned. Urb is still Urb though but playing right away ala Tajh Boyd at Clemson may appeal to this kid too. I can't see Miller leaving early and Barrett and Jones are pretty decent as well. Can't get my shorts in too much of a bunch this early.
