Unless we offer some Ohio guys late, it could end up this way too. And there's a decent chance it happens again with the 2014 class.

Are there players from Ohio that are better at there position than the kids we have from OOS? That should be the question you are asking. Is there are better TE than the kid from Ca? Is there a better DE than Bosa? This is what needs to be asked.

I don't think it is so much of the fact that we are getting out of state guys but the states that we are getting them from. Under Tressel we got plenty of guys from other states but most were from other BigTen states or Georgia/Florida. With Meyer I think the recruiting Net basically could cover the entire country. I'm loving that we are hitting the Carolina's and California/Texas.

I dont mind it at all. It's great to get Ohio players if they are OSU caliber, I don't want to take them strictly because they are from Ohio. Grab the best players in the country, bottom line.

Getting all the in state players with Tressel was great. We won several big ten championships and some bowl wins. I'm not going to give Tressel 100% credit for the players involved with our 02 championship. I think if you want to compete with the SEC you have to go national and not just dominate the state of Ohio and even Pennsylvania. I'm ok with Hoke coming in and grabbing some Ohio kids while we are getting some of the best National kids!!

It has been accurately stated that we want the best players we can get no matter where they are from. I think it will be pretty much an annual standard that we take the very best from Ohio and then fill the rest of the class nationally. That probably means 6-8 Ohio players pending on how strong that year class is.
