he reported it but not to the proper authorities. He is going down and this is just the beginning. I'm not happy about that but Joe Pa's reputation is going to be ruined. And it really should be. He was trying to cover this crap up plain and simple.

I just read this story to my wife who is a teacher herself and I am disgusted again reading it.
How could this happen anywhere, it is really unbelievable.

The fans over there are so superior acting like their program was perfect, now look at this. When you make your living being on a pedestal, you better be careful you don't fall off.
I am only sorry for the victims, the rest of that crew needs to be held accountable. This is bad, bad corruption.
What an utterly disgusting football program they have at that cesspool in Happy Valley.

JoePa reported this in timely fashion. The fact that he did that is where this has the potential to shake the Penn State University to its foundation.This is so far beyond some silly football program violations. The powers that be made decisions from that point forward that likely enabled a child molester.

I heard there will be no bowl ban or scholarship reductions. They just have to use Bauserman as their starting QB the next couple of years.

Exactly. Its that enabling that will potentially (likely) lead to MASSIVE civil litigation against the university & all involved (on individually basis, including Paterno). But that will be small potatoes compared to the criminal implications & shame.
