Is it racist to say blacks like to eat fried chicken and collards anymore than it is to say Asians like rice, or Italians like pasta, or Hungarians like paprikas? It isn't racist, it is for the most part accurate. I enjoy all of the above. LoL

It's not racists it's ignorant because most people like fried chicken it's in the fabric of America. Fried chicken and collards is associated with the south where a large percentage of black people do live so it's more cultural than racial. I enjoy all of the above too even though I've never had paprikas.

I think when we joke about it on a personal level it's funny, just like being gay or lesbian. I had a gay guy hit on me at subway and say some pretty offensive things to me (offer me a bj for money) I'm tolerant of everything but needless to say I've never ate subway again because the words footlong and the squirting of mayo out of the bottle is a digusting thought to me now.

If you wouldn't say something to a group of people from that culture in an attempt to collude then it's racist in my opinion all of my friends are of different nationalities and we make fun of each others race all the time but there are no malicious intentions involved. When we go out we call our crew the U.N.!
