I for one hopes Love has an offer and is a Buckeye. Although I love the national recruiting strategy, I still think it's important to keep Ohio's best in state.

I am sure everything is explained in detail to the recruit about waiting to commit after offered. I also do not think that this has to do with OSU putting the brakes on Love, but Love wanting to take a longer look at Nebraska. A lot of pull at Mooney regarding the cornhuskers.

Although a different position, I think Bosa has been the key domino here. I think of all the recent/expected commits, the staff may have viewed him as the longest odds. Now that he almost seems certain, it seems to have opened the floodgates. Could we have realistically and soberly expected to have Anzalone, Bosa and Barrett in by spring game weekend? I know that assumes alot happens this weekend but wow what a two week turnaround.

I may be wrong but I think there could be worse scenarios than Love not committing to us yet (or at all). He could very well be waiting to see what Analezone does this weekend (which I hope he verbals to us). That may sway Love to Lincoln in which case we better have a spot for Smith, Kimbrough or another LBer all of which in my mind will be better additions to this class.
