I too will not be watching the farce in NOLA. I think it is extremely important to make sure the tube is tuned into something else at that time so we can insure that this is lowest rated BCS MNC game EVER!!!

So the BCS has something in common with global warming? Who knew? How do we get people in power that actually want a playoff for ALL collegiate sports?
I must be crazy! I thought you always wanted the two best teams playing in the NC game? LSU and Bama are without doubt the two best teams and anybody who doesn't watch it because of some perceived bias I do not consider a true college football fan. I'm not making them wrong, it's obviously their choice but the NC game is the NC game and I would not miss it for anything.
You're also not a pro football fan if you don't watch the Super Bowl
You're also not a baseball fan if you don't watch the World Series
From my understanding, the BCS and NCAA are separate entities. That being said, Ramzy, my question to you is: I know the NCAA banned OSU from post-season play in 2012. Alternatively, if the BCS and NCAA are separate entities, why couldn't the BCS invite OSU to play in a BCS game? What legal force does the NCAA really have to prevent this? Thanks, Ramzy. Great stuff per usual.
