PSU "Success with Honor" No Lion fans its Northwestern!! They have the same amount of Big 10 Championships as you, a higher graduation rate, and have not tried to cover up the worst scandal in College Football history.

So typical Penn State. They are the biggest bunch of whiners in college football and among the least knowledgable. Remember how great they thought Pryor was when they actually thought they had a chance to get him? Once Pryor chose Ohio State and said Penn State was, "too rural", he became a thug, had no talent and they said they never wanted him anyway. Ohio State annually leads the Big 10 in # of football players selected to Academic All-Big 10. Last year they finished second to Northwestern for the first time. They are always ahead of Penn State. Ohio State also was second in the conference in APR again ahead of Penn State, yet if you believe Penn State forum posters they have true student athletes who do better academically. The facts, however, do not support them. With Penn State, they rarely do.

They went for Meyer, to Saban, to Tony Dungy, to Jim Caldwell, to Mark Richt, to Bob Stoops, to Dan Mullen, to Mike Munchak, to Chris Peterson and ended up with..........Bill O'Brien.

Remember when Ohio State fans hated Urban Meyer before it was apparent he was coming here?

We hated Urban because he beat our ass in the Title game. That was our reason. Why do PSU fans hate Urban Meyer? They have no reason to.

Sure we can. Urban is our coach, a proven winner at the college level, and the worst our University did was get some tats. PSU fans on the other hand, have a shitty coach, wish they had Urban, talk shit about Urban now that he is at Ohio State, and their coaches were raping boys for years.

Why does anyone even care what PSU thinks now or thought about Meyer or The Ohio State University! They have proven what many suspected all along. They are an outdated and out of touch football program that have so believed their own hype that they are trapped by it. What do I mean by that?

I live over here in Pa on the far east side and work even further east in Latrobe. This is solidly PSU country being only about 90 minutes away from campus. This is an extremely conservative and almost backward area. I cant tell you how often as a Buckeye I had to listen to PSU people talk crap about us being a football factory and how they have so much integrity and they do things "the right way" and how they stand for something good in CFB. How they graduate their black athletes, like they are some kind of resource to be used. In this way, I cant stand them even more than Meatchicken. Nothing worse than the holier than thou types.

From the stupid male cheerleader coming out in pregame with a mic and leading cheers to the pom poms in the student section moving to the song Dont Stop Believin, its just the corniest crap I had ever seen. I thought I was in a 1950s time warp and it was soo laughable. Cheesy also works.

They were so proud of being bland, non-descript, highly ethical, and high intregrity that they had to hide this big issue that was bubbling under the surface. Their brand was complete wholesomeness, so they were almost forced into hiding the truth. I mean how could they admit the truth of something so terrible??? THEY ARE PENN STATE!!!

The problem is, they having learned a thing. They still talk about how this whole thing had nothing to with PSU football, what??? They still talk about how scummy Ohio State is and what a low-life Meyer is. I laughed out loud when one guy I talked to said that Meyer would join the staff as a coach in waiting assistant and take over next year. This is Urban Meyer people, this guy was not going to ever join a staff as someones assistant...even JP's.

Exactly lol... people her dogged him and called him everything but a child of God, now that he is the coach they are riding his nuts more than his own wife, it's sad but hey... I still think he is the same guy, we are just seeing it on our side now. I'm glad we got the guy though because I'll take the shady snake oil coach over anyone else not named Tressel. I couldn't see myself being excited with anyone else besides him. I don't care how many dreams he has to sell, just get us to the NC!
