Lots of observations can be made. First of all, Florida, wow - what a high ratio. about 70% of the amount of players as Ohio but about twice as many D1 signees. They crushed California with 1/3 the amount of players!
Obviously the south has a huge advantage but It looks like There is a lot of east coast talent that is ripe for the picking. I think the SEC is dominating the virginia, maryland, and north carolina and this is where the B10, especially PSU could do more damage (Urbs is already doing fine in this department).
New Jersey coming in at tied for 13th with Maryland/DC for total recuits. More reason to hit the east coast.
Also, illinois should be fielding much better teams in a state that is number ten in most signees total.
More credit can be given to Ferentz for being able to remain somewhat nationally relevant with such a weak pool. Same can be said for Nebraska, Wisconsin, and Minnesota as the poster above alluded to.
