Rumor: Possible explanation for why LSU looked so bad

And I guess I don't understand why some posters on here seem to think that if you ask why something happened you are whining or making excuses. I am no LSU fan and I am not invested in either team, but I find it interesting to see if there was something more to this performance than what meets the eye on the field. I felt the same way about our disastrous BCS Championship performance. At least I could take comfort in understanding what was going on.

LSU lost for two reasons. One they were, slow and couldn't handle that SEC speed. And two, les Miles was distracted by his new gig in Happy Valley.

LSU's offensive struggles were apparent in the 1st Bama game and 1st half of the SEC championship game. Miles relied on same ole same ole magic to turn things around. Saban spent his time honing the control passing game and stopping the LSU option. Miles, Studrawa, etc. added nothing new nor made any gameday adjustments. LSU was the best team for 13 games, but any one of the top 10 teams could have beaten them the way they prepared and played last Monday night.

True if they would have played like that against OKy state then the SEC reign would probably be over

Here's something no one has brought up before. Maybe the people in power could come up with some type of a playoff system to involve the top 8 or 16 teams. I know it sounds crazy, but just thinking "outside the box" a little bit.
