SEC fans are now taking credit for Urban's recruiting/coaching.

  • This has now become comical. I live in Alabama and I was listening to a local sports talk show (I flipped over to it and heard Beilima and Dantonio's name so I stopped on it). The callers were obviously calling B & D crybabies as most of us are so I was entertained at first. Then a caller began to talk about how the B1G will be owned by Urban (not Ohio State) because he has won in the gauntlet that is the SEC. Caller after caller agreed with this in some way, shape or form and even the guest's on the show talked about how Urban is gonna bring the SEC style to the B1G and be dominant. I kept waiting for the phone # to be given so I could call in and remind these idiots that Meyer is an Ohio native and using their logic it took a Utah coach to tame the mighty SEC. They never repeated the # so I never got the chance. I think I have officially heard it all

    Thank you Dantonio and BB. You have made the B1G an even worse laughing stock.

    I don't think it was Finebaum but that sounds familiar. I normally just flip the channel when I realize its local but the whole BB, Dantonio thing caught my attention so I listened.

    I think they have a point. OSU would not have a top #5 class if it weren't for Meyers SEC-style poaching of other verbals.

    That said, all is fair in love and war. And yes, Dantonio & BB needs to get over it it already and embrace the new era.

    Damn right there brother. Morons forget to look at where all these great coaches are from. OHIO so you are welcome SEC for allowing you to borrow one of the better coaches to come from ohio but he is back where he belongs and coming for your head and i hope he gets a chance every year to lop off one after another. I would be fine with every NC game being OSU vs any SUC team. I like our chances there.
