Saban playing mind games with Urban

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that Saban seems to be taking a lot of interest in Urban's recruits? There was Johnny Townsend and now he has offered 3 from Glenville. I think he is throwing down the gauntlet towards Urban. He probably knows he is one of the few coaches/programs that could challenge him. Thoughts

That's absolutely the case and you can't tell me he wasn't pissed about losing Bell. He knows from prior experience that urban is the one guy who can take him. I'm sure the next few years will be fun to watch if they play each other like everyone thinks.

I think the "Big Dogs" know who the big dogs are....it's standard business, you go after the best regardless of where they are.

Oh that started as soon as Urban was named HC at OSU. Obviously Urb and company were scrambling and had a short time to make offers and sign some kids, but then Saban all of a sudden started showing interest in everyone that Urban was interested in or sent a new scholarship offer. The Trubisky kid is a good example. Saban copied the offer Meyer made. I believe the kid even said that he was suprised to get an offer from Alabama right after OSU. I think Saban knows who the real competition is and who he will face at the NC game soon. Saban also knows that someone who can play for Urban Meyer can play for him in the SEC. So if Urban wants him, Saban wants him too. Saban told me so.

I think it's just recruiting. You go after talent period so if thats ohio, cali, florida, georgia etc you go after it.
Saban really doesn't have to play mind games with anyone. I think 4 rings would be enough Jedi mind trick to mess with anyone.
