I'm getting ready to book hotels for the Cal game next year. We are going to be spending the week in San Fran and then heading to Berkeley on Saturday mourning. None of the group I'm going with has been to San Fran so we will likely want to go to all the tourist stuff during the day and then hit the bars at night. We arnt into the club scene but just cool local bars. Money isn't a major factor but I'm hoping to spend 200 or less per night for a hotel but being conviently located to the tourist attractions and night life is more of a concern. Can any of you give me suggestions on good hotels? I plan on spending very little time in the room so I'm just looking for a clean place to crash at the end of a long day. Thanks in advance.
PM for information..happy to help you out here..I live in the south bay and there is tons to see/do and much to take in for the week.
take plenty of change for the panhandlers.
PM me if you'd like, I love in SF and have for years - I know of a great, low cost hotel, in a great area for bars/restaurants/shopping - it's close to F-mans Wharf for when you want to do the tourista stuff adn I can give you thedeets on the immediate area (what you can do on foot) as well as the other city high lights (which is all easy to do by taxi)
My wife, our daughter, and I will be coming from Hawaii!! Going to get on a hop to Travis afb then come down. Can't wait
What will be the best way to get tickets??
