I refuse to sit here and believe if offered urban say no thanks. Even with today's stuff. We are talking about a mans dream and his love for the buckeyes. These are opportunities that urban may NEVER get the rest of his life. Could he really live with himself if he passed? I know he would regret it. "at this time" OSU isn't look for a coach. I believe when they do urban maybe very interested in returning to coaching. Give it bout a month and he could be looking into it. Again I'm just not buying he turns down a once in a lifetime dream I know i wouldn't I'd go as far to say USC like sanctions still wouldnt turn him away if this is really a dream and he really cares this much about the OSU. Think about how much his family and mentors feel about OSU and him coaching here. U really think Earl bruce would say "yes urban pass on the OSU job." again just can't see it.

Fickell is not that likely, most on the BOT's and other factions know he was part of this coaching staff, he seen these cars, condos, cars and other items down there during this time, Tressel fell on the sword.
I will not go into my source, other when he told me Fickell was slim to none in October, he reports to Gene Smith's boss, so I will take his word for it.
You think Meyer is the only list? He might be king of the hill 1AA, but there are other names waiting on that list as well, and they are have better resumes than Fickell.

Take your Post over to the Fickelite board because the only way he stays is if Osu gets hammered with sanctions and no qualified coach wants the Job.. Then thy will just go cheap and pay him 1.5 mil to stay around until we are able to crawl out of the ditch. I really really hope this does not happen

Who is on that list, that has reasonable chance of taking the job? I want Urban here, but if he doesn't come, I have not heard a name of a person (who will actually take the job) that I would take over Fickell.

I'll take Pelini any day over fickell.. He has head coaching experience he took over when Nebraska was at a low and within 2 years made them competitive with Texas and Oklaholma. He has a NC ring as a DC. He has shown a lot of growth on his offensive philosophy they have a pretty decent offense with one of the worst quarterbacks I've ever seem.. He has gotten recruiting classes in the top 15 every yr since he has been there and he does not have a strong in state talent base. He is not my choice but I'm my opinion has a lot more to offer than Fickell. I will also make a prediction he will kick penn states butt tomorrow
