Should we and others get a logo on the helmet?

    No way in hell. I can't stomach these one game a year uni changes, let alone messing with our traditional stuff.

    I find it funny that people all of a sudden want "tradition" but thought nothing of tradition when calling for a playoff.

  • Its gotten to the point where somebody cant even ask a question without a downvote. Nobody is advocating doing away with current helmets the guy just threw an open ended question out there. That deserves DVs?

    For us if we made Buckeye leaf on one side that was medium size it would be sweet and u still could add little ones for achievements like usual.

    Honestly do many teams have ugly helmets that if they just put the team logo on it would look much better.

    I know this is outside of the box but what do u think?

    I though those proposed black pro combat UNi with the block O was also tight.

    I don't personally think a logo is needed. If they did change it I would not feel that strongly about it.

  • #1 I never said lets change OUR helmets

    #2 I wouldn't be opposed to having alternate helmets for a pro combat uniform

    #3 the black pro combat idea with the red block O is simply Amazing

    #4 the red helmet was sweet but they should have put buckeye leaves on it (or possibly a silver bullet)

    #5 doesn't every buckeye start out with one leaf after we win the first gm regulardless if u played/ so having a buckeye sticker in middle that is bigger than the small ones couldnt possibly look that bad.

    #6 the teams that absolutely need change is penn st and a few other plain ones. I'll post a link but I seen some concepts of penn st with the lion I think it looks better and many other teams also have sweet logos that they don't put on the helmet

    I'm 33 you guys cry like I have actually changed the helmet smh

  • I actually liked the jersey black number put on the "retro" helmets last season for the Wisc game...I am not advocating any changes, but I guess I could live with the number on one side and buckeye leaves on the other...definately no logo though
