Steve: do you know if OSU still wanted Jacobs at this point. seems like he had the most speed out of anyone they were recruiting so i'm just wondering if urban decided to back off him after getting clark and that's why he went to Maryland?

There is talk of the punter Townsend going to bama, if so i think it is a plot by urban to get us the number one recruiting class. Also, a great trade Townsend for Bell!!! Man this is a dream come true Clark and Bell!!!

Talking now about how 1 in 3 recruits get maximized, 1 in 3 don't reach potential and 1 in 3 don't make it. Said that needs to change and will work harder to make sure that becomes 2 of 3 or 3 of 3

Meyer said Everett Withers from start to finish on Vonn Bell was as goood approach as he's seen
Tom Herman did an excellent job in Texas. We pulled 3 excellent players from Texas.
Credited Tim Hinton for doing good job on Jalin Marshall
Credited Fickell for doing good job with 2 LBs Johnson and Mitchell

OSU OC Tom Herman said they looked at players who can make people miss in space and break tackles. Emphasized straight line speed.
Herman on what he's looking for: Said speed is first thing, then toughness, ability to play in space and make hard yards.
